THE BEST OF SOUTHWEST MINNEAPOLIS — brought to you by the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)
We shopped on Small Business Saturday; we’ve survived Black Friday; and now are clicking away on Cyber Monday, but what about Giving Tuesday? We recently saw this in the Star Tribune:
Even though we’ll be a few days late (Giving Saturday?), Lynnhurst Neighborhood is ready to join in and put a focus on giving to others. Make a difference and join your neighbors for a fun break at the Lynnhurst Community Center on Saturday, December 5.
Donate! Bring new and gently used children’s books (donations will go to Minnesota Literacy Center) and warm mittens *and hats and scarves (donations will go to People Serving People).
Have fun! Bring the kids to jump off some extra energy in the bounce house or read a book in the Story Nook. Enjoy free coffee, cocoa and treats. Meet Knitteapolis, Minnesota’s Yarnbomber.
Saturday, December 5
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lynnhurst Community Center
1345 W. Minnehaha Parkway
