THE BEST OF SOUTHWEST MINNEAPOLIS — brought to you by the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)
A new development has been proposed for the northwest corner of W. 50th St. & Bryant Ave. S (currently Joe’s Brake Shop). In an effort to provide neighborhood residents with as much information as possible, a chance to look at the proposed plans and an opportunity to ask questions of the developer, Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association will host an informational community meeting:
Wednesday, June 21
Lynnhurst Community Center, multi-purpose room
W. 50th St. & Minnehaha Pkwy.
The proposal calls for a one-story retail building of approximately 9800 sq. ft. The developer plans to request variances to eliminate on-site parking and rear and side setback requirements. The public hearing for those variance requests will be on July 17 in front of the Minneapolis Planning Commission.
Although this is not a formal city meeting or hearing, representatives of the developer, as well as City Council Ward 13 will be present to answer your questions.
