The Lynnhurst Community Engagement Committee is partnering with Fleet Feet Sports, F45 Training, and Barre Bliss Yoga to bring a fitness series to the neighborhood. Jump start your spring training by joining us for three great workouts, in the fresh air of Lynnhurst! It is recommended that you sign up at Eventbrite to reserve your spot and to get updates in case of cancellations due to weather.
Fleet Feet Community Run – Tuesday May 8th, 6:30PM
Fleet Feet sports will be hosting the first event in the series with a community fun run. The run will start at 6:30 PM on Tuesday May 8th. Come to the Fleet Feet Store (2312 W 50th St, at the corner of 50th and Penn) to join the crew in a guided 3 or 7 mile run. After the run refreshments and door prizes will be provided at the store. This is a rain or shine event.
F45 Function Training Working – Saturday May 12th, 10:00 AM
F45 Training is a team-based, functional training that is one of the fastest growing gyms in the world! The SW Minneapolis Studio will be bringing one of its unique, 45 minute High-Intensity, Circuit based workouts to Lynnhurst Park (50th and Minnehaha) at 10:00 AM. Come well fueled and ready to sweat, because this high octane workout will get your motor running for the rest of the day!
Barre Bliss Yoga – Barre Yoga Class – Saturday May 19th, 9:00 AM
The team at Barre Bliss will be leading their popular barre yoga class outdoors at Lynnhurst Park (50th and Minnehaha). The Barre Bliss workout will use your own body weight as resistance. The amazing and effective process, called the Barre Bliss Method, includes fluid stretches, intense thigh and rear sequences, ab defining moves, and muscle-defining arm exercises. The Barre Bliss method targets the muscles in your legs, rear, abs, and upper body to the point of fatigue and then stretches them to alleviate your muscles. These classes work because they are challenging!
