Welcome to Lynnhurst

THE BEST OF SOUTHWEST MINNEAPOLIS — brought to you by the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)

23rd Annual Lynnhurst Summer Festival

Thurs., Aug. 2
5:30-8:30 p.m.
Lynnhurst Recreation Center Fields (south of 50th St.)
50th St. & Minnehaha Pkwy.

NEW LOCATION! We’re trying something new this year and will be holding the festival on the Lynnhurst/Burroughs fields on the south side of 50th St.

Now Taking Credit Cards: You asked and we answered! We will now be accepting credit card payments at the Ticket Booth.

Food and Drink: Our special guest this year is Terzo Porchetteria – a Broders’ restaurant. They will be serving slow-roasted Italian pork sandwiches and bowls. We’re also welcoming Fair Faves, featuring mini-donuts, hand-cut fries, and cheese curds, and fresh smoothies from Wholesum Kitchen. LYNAS will be featuring pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, cookies, ice cold drinks, and healthy side options such as carrots and dip, apples, and baked snacks.

Music: The Melvilles

For the Kids: Inflatables, carnival games, balloon animals, a magic show and, of course, antique fire truck rides. We’ll have a brand new soccer kick inflatable – so practice those kicks! We will be selling an $8 wristband for unlimited games and inflatables. There will also be a family free play area sponsored by MPRB Pop Up Park.

For the Adults: Back by popular demand – $1 Prize Drawings for local businesses! We’ll also have free chair massages, community Information tables, and a great evening hanging out with your neighbors. We’re looking forward to a small exhibit of electric vehicles as well as voting related guests.

Want to get involved? We’re still looking for volunteers to help make this a great evening. We’d love your help for with tickets, games, food, etc. Please click here for our online volunteer sign-up sheet. Each volunteer will get four tickets to use anywhere at the festival AND be entered in to a drawing for gift cards to local businesses.

The festival is sponsored by Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS) in partnership with Lynnhurst Park. It is a zero-waste event and all vendors will be featuring compostable supplies.
