THE BEST OF SOUTHWEST MINNEAPOLIS — brought to you by the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)
Thurs., Sept. 5
meet at 901 W. Minnehaha Pkwy.
This will be our 3rd Happy Hour & Garden Tour, based on the great response we’ve had to the previous two events. Come and see established and newly planted gardens whose owners have participated in the Lynnhurst Yards & Gardens for Clean Water program. Raingardens and native plantings reduce turf and create beautiful landscaping features that protect water quality and provide habitat for pollinators. Next week, we’ll be touring six gardens that are all different and all inspiring. Our program partner, Metro Blooms, will lead the tour with a presentation at the first garden followed by a question and answer period before heading to the next garden.
Meet at 901 W. Minnehaha Parkway (south side of creek at Bryant) for Happy Hour and the first garden tour. Addresses of the other gardens will be provided there. The first three gardens are close together, then one near 53rd & Knox and the last two near 50th & Newton. WALK, BIKE OR CARPOOL–the total distance from the first to the last garden is about 1.3 miles.
Questions, contact the LEC at Lynnhurst.firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope to see you on September 5!
