Welcome to Lynnhurst

THE BEST OF SOUTHWEST MINNEAPOLIS — brought to you by the Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)

Natural Environment

The beautiful natural environment that defines Lynnhurst’s boundaries is an important part of our neighborhood.

Chaired by Sandra Nussbaum, the Lynnhurst Environmental Committee meets once a month to discuss environmental concerns and plan actions to improve the quality and sustainability of the neighborhood’s natural environment.

Some of the many efforts the committee undertakes on our behalf include the annual creek cleanup on Earth Day, an annual Buckthorn Bust, environment themed forums, zero waste efforts and neighborhood events, and most recently the Association’s Blooming Alleys pilot project.

The committee maintains their own blog – Our Enduring Environs, to keep you updated and informed about area conservation and improvement efforts. Visit the Enduring Environs Blog for more information.
